Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate Therapy

When fetuses form in utero, the process begins with undifferentiated cells. These cells migrate to the appropriate body part and “grow into” the cell type used to build a specific tissue. As adults, our bodies also manufacture undifferentiated cells that possess the ability to develop into a specific cell type. BMAC offers an excellent, easily harvestable, source of these adult cells.

Once harvested, the concentrated bone marrow is reinjected into damaged joints under x-ray or Ultrasound. BMAC triggers a process that results in reduced inflammation, healing, and ultimately pain relief. It may take 4-6 weeks to notice results from the procedure.
